The success of the regeneration project can most vividly be seen in the photographs taken throughout Tiromoana Bush since the project began. In 2004 before planting commenced 11 photo-points were selected with two additional photo-points established in 2005 and 2007, bringing the total to 13 (see map below).
At each of these photo-points, panoramic-style photographs have been taken annually most years in late December/ early January. The photographs dramatically illustrate the major changes taking place as a result of 15 years of restoration planting and natural regeneration.
