Want to visit?

You’re welcome to visit Tiromoana Bush to see first-hand the forest regeneration in progress and the native bird population. There is no charge for visiting the bush. It is open year round during daylight hours, only closing at times of high fire risk.

There are a series of walkways through Tiromoana Bush. There’s more information about the walking tracks at this link. A downloadable brochure with a detailed map of the tracks, lookouts, picnic spots, toilets and beach access is here.

Educational Visits

It is possible for groups, including schools, scientific and research organisations, social and service clubs to arrange for a guided tour through the bush to visit areas of restoration planting off the marked tracks. If your group would like a guided tour of Tiromoana Bush contact us by email: info@transwastecanterbury.co.nz
