Visit the landfill
Transwaste welcomes community groups and organisations, including scientific, research, educational and social groups to visit the Landfill. On average one community group visits each week, with more than 15,000 people visiting the landfill since it opened in 2005. Visits are by arrangement only, as available times for tours are booked out months in advance. If you’d like to arrange a guided tour of the Kate Valley Landfill contact the administration office.
